Jose Blanka

Jose Blanca began his musical journey at the young age of 8 years old. He is a multi-instrumentalist musician who has studied classical music specializing in piano ar the Royal Conservatory of Music "Victoria Eugenia" in Granada (Spain), under the tutelage of the renowned Spanish pianist, Professor Juan Jose Perez Torrecillas.

After graduating in piano, he diversified his skills and he dedicated himself to the study and practice of other instruments, embracing drums, percussion, marimba, and especially the handpan. While focusing on its practice, Jose also developed an interest in its construction.

During the last years, Jose Blanca has worked in different countries with several master handpan builders, sharing his expertise through teaching and as a handpan artist. His dedication culminated in a transformative experience, working for the last two years with the world's premier handpan maker in the Netherlands.

Nowaday, Jose Blanca specializes in promoting and teaching handpan, while fascinating listeners as a solo artist.
