Graduating with a specialised masters, her method “Electro Recorder Lab” was nominated for the Amsterdam School Of The Arts graduation prize.

Francesca now gives performances throughout Europe and the USA, appearing on the BBC, Dutch TV show Vrije Geluiden, Radio 4 in Holland and radio WQXR in New York. She plays with the renowned 11-piece renaissance recorder consort the ‘Royal Wind Music’ and Duo Soinua, a special combination of Accordion and Recorder. Francesca helps to organise ORDA (Open Recorder Days Amsterdam) a festival bringing together recorder players from all over the world.

A passionate teacher, Francesca loves to encourage recorder players of all ages and abilities. Francesca has really enjoyed giving concerts across Amsterdam to youngsters aged 0-4, with the Memorable Moments Foundation. It is this experience of sharing music with the very young that has inspired Francesca to launch Little Notes Amsterdam, enabling her to regularly make music with local families and share live music with them right from the start.
